OVER THE YEARS... LOOKS BACK AT
GRAHAM NASH'S FIVE DECADE MUSICAL JOURNEY

30-Song Collection Spotlights Nash's Best-Known Songs From The Past
50 Years And Includes More Than A Dozen Unreleased Demos And Mixes

Available On CD, Vinyl, And Digital From Rhino

LOS ANGELES - Towering above virtually everything that Graham Nash has accomplished in his long and multi-faceted career, there stands the litany of songs that he has written and introduced to the soundtrack of the past half-century. Two-time Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Nash burst on to the scene during the British Invasion with The Hollies before he formed the legendary supergroup Crosby, Stills and Nash in 1968 with David Crosby and Stephen Stills. As Nash prepares to launch a European tour in July, Rhino looks back at some of his best-known recordings from the past 50 years in a new anthology featuring more than a dozen unreleased demos and mixes.

Over The Years... features 30 tracks and will be available on June 29 as a two-CD set ($24.98) and on digital download and streaming services. A 15 track, double-LP version ($31.98) featuring an etching on "Side Four" will be released on August 31. The anthology has been painstakingly curated by Nash and longtime associate Joel Bernstein and includes extensive credits and liner notes.

"It does my heart good to present my songs this way. I hope that listeners will enjoy hearing the demos of my songs - how my demos of 'Our House,' 'Teach Your Children,' and others turned into the records that have endured 'Over The Years,' how I started writing them, and how they became the now familiar recordings when they were released," said Nash.

Over The Years... highlights songs from the iconic CSN debut album ("Marrakesh Express") and its successor album Déjà Vu, for which Neil Young joined forces with CSN ("Our House" and "Teach Your Children") as well as songs from subsequent CSN albums ("Just A Song Before I Go" and "Wasted On The Way"). In addition, the collection highlights songs that Nash recorded for his 1971 solo debut, Songs For Beginners, including "Military Madness" and "Simple Man," and includes unreleased mixes for two other songs from that album: "Better Days" and "I Used To Be King." The most recent recording on the compilation is "Myself At Last" from Nash's 2016 solo album This Path Tonight.

Two tracks from his enduring albums with David Crosby ("Immigration Man" and "Wind On The Water") are also included in the collection.

The CD version of Over The Years... includes 15 demo recordings, 12 of which have never been released. Standouts include the 1968 London demo of "Marrakesh Express," rejected by the Hollies and setting the stage for Nash's relocation to Los Angeles and the next chapter of his life. The set contains early versions of CSN classics like "Our House," "Wasted On The Way," "Pre-Road Downs," and "Teach Your Children." Other unreleased gems include: "I Miss You" and "You'll Never Be The Same" - both from Nash's 1974 solo album Wild Tales - and "Horses Through A Rainstorm," originally intended for Déjà Vu.

In addition to his July UK and European tour, Nash will continue to support Over The Years... with a Fall US tour beginning in Austin, TX on September 19.

LOS ANGELES - Yes mark their 50th anniversary this year and release YES: THE STEVEN WILSON REMIXES which spotlights five studio albums that helped secure the band's recent induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

YES: THE STEVEN WILSON REMIXES will be available June 29  as a five album set. It includes remixed versions of: The Yes Album (1971), Fragile (1971), Close To The Edge (1972), the double album Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973), and Relayer (1974). Each album features remixed audio by renowned producer Steven Wilson, released on vinyl for the first time.

The record case features artwork created specifically for the set by Roger Dean, whose artwork and trademark calligraphy are synonymous with the band's identity, two of the albums, Close To The Edge and Tales From Topography Oceans have new cover art, while the remaining three covers have been reworked by Dean.

After their initial release in the 1970's,Wilson's articulate remix shines a light on the stellar performances that run deep through each of these the albums, from hits like "Roundabout" and "I've Seen All Good People," to album-side length epics like "Close To The Edge" and "The Gates Of Delirium."

The music included in this collection confirms the band's standing as the most enduring, ambitious, and virtuosic progressive band in rock history. It also follows the band through a number of personnel changes. Starting in February 1971 with Yes's third studio release, The Yes Album, the band featured vocalist Jon Anderson, bassist Chris Squire, guitarist Steve Howe, keyboardist Tony Kaye and drummer Bill Bruford. Released just nine months later, Fragile was Yes's first release with keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The same line-up returned on 1972's Close To The Edge. A year later, drummer Alan White made his Yes debut on Tales From Topographic Oceans. And finally, keyboardist Patrick Moraz joined for Relayer in 1974.

LOS ANGELES - Before playing its final show on May 5, 1968, Buffalo Springfield released three studio albums on ATCO during an intense, two-year creative burst. Those albums - Buffalo Springfield, Buffalo Springfield Again, and Last Time Around - have been newly remastered from the original analog tapes under the auspices of Neil Young for the new boxed set: WHAT'S THAT SOUND? THE COMPLETE ALBUMS COLLECTION.

The set includes stereo mixes of all three albums, plus mono mixes for Buffalo Springfield and Buffalo Springfield Again, and will be available on June 29 from Rhino as a five-CD set for $39.98 and will also be on digital download and streaming services. High resolution streaming and downloads will be available through www.neilyoungarchives.com.

On the same date, the albums will also be released - for the first time ever - on 180-gram vinyl as part of a limited-edition set of 5,000 copies for $114.98. The 5-LP box features the same mono and stereo mixes as the CD set, presented in sleeves and gatefolds that faithfully re-create the original releases.

Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Richie Furay, Bruce Palmer and Dewey Martin played their first show together as Buffalo Springfield in 1966. The same year, the band recorded and released its self-titled debut, which included the iconic protest song, "For What It's Worth," featuring lyrics as poignant now as they were then, in addition to standouts like "Burned," "Do I Have To Come Right Out And Say It," and the band's first single, "Nowadays Clancy Can't Even Sing."

The group spent the first half of 1967 making Buffalo Springfield Again, which was the first album to feature songs written by Furay ("A Child's Claim To Fame.") Stills and Young both contributed some all-time classics with "Bluebird" and "Rock And Roll Woman" from Stills, and "Mr. Soul" and "Expecting To Fly" from Young.

When Last Time Around came out in July 1968, the band members were in the midst of transitioning to new projects: Stills famously joined David Crosby and Graham Nash in CSN; Young went solo; and Furay started Poco with Jim Messina, who produced Last Time Around and played bass on two of the songs. Highlights abound on the album with Young's "I Am A Child," Furay's "Kind Woman" and Stills' "Uno Mundo."

SEPULTURA: ARISE EXPANDED EDITION

CD And Vinyl Sets Feature Newly Remastered Version Of The Original Album Expanded With Rare And Unreleased Studio And Live Recordings

Available June 15 From Rhino

LOS ANGELES – Sepultura hit its stride in 1991 when the Brazilian quartet released its acclaimed fourth record, Arise. Certified platinum based on worldwide sales, the album includes indispensable thrash/death metal tracks like “Under Siege (Regnum Irae)” and “Dead Embryonic Cells.”

Rhino will revisit this raucous classic with a remastered version of the original album that’s been expanded with rare and unreleased studio and live recordings. ARISE: EXPANDED EDITION will be available on June 15 as a double-disc set for $19.98. A double-LP version that features an abbreviated track listing will be available on the same day for $31.98. The music will also be available digitally and via streaming services.

In 1983, brothers Max and Igor Cavalera founded Sepultura.  Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. joined soon after, and Andreas Kisser later joined as lead guitarist, rounding out the band’s earlier lineup. They have since sold nearly 20 million albums worldwide, including more than three million in the United States.

Following the breakthrough success of 1989’s Beneath The Remains, the band regrouped in Florida to record Arise with producer Scott Burns. Thrash and death metal were the album’s primary sources of inspiration, but tracks like “Desperate Cry” revealed the band’s love for hardcore punk, while the tribal rhythms of “Altered State” foreshadowed a new direction the band would explore on future albums.

ARISE: EXPANDED EDITION features a newly remastered version of the original album along with 28 bonus tracks. Many of those have never been released, including an industrial remix of “Dead Embryonic Cells,” “Meaningless Movements” from an August 1989 writing session, and a cover of Motorhead’s “Orgasmatron.”

Previously unreleased highlights from the second disc include a version of “Infected Voice” from writing sessions that took place in March 1990, as well as basic tracks for “Murder,” “Altered State” and more. The disc also features the CD debut of eight concert recordings originally released on the band’s first home video, Under Seige (Live In Barcelona), including “Arise,” “Dead Embryonic Cells” and “Beneath The Remains.”

To fit onto a double-LP, the vinyl version of ARISE: EXPANDED EDITION features a condensed track listing. It includes the 2018 remastered version of the original album, along with a selection of 10 bonus tracks from the CD set.

Robert Smith And 11 Rare Mixes From 1982-1990 Available June 15 From Rhino

2-LP 180-gram Vinyl Versions Also Available On The Same Day

LOS ANGELES - With the Disintegration album and its accompanying global Prayer Tour, 1989 had delivered a triumphant end to the 80s, but the first year of the 90s found The Cure unexpectedly unsettled.

Determined to keep up the momentum of the band's ongoing success, but knowing there were internal tensions to address before heading back into the studio, Robert Smith decided on a different course of action; curating an album of the band's rarer 12" mixes. As work on Mixed Up progressed, Smith realized that some of The Cure's earlier remixes didn't stand up to the newer ones.

Robert singles out Brian 'Chuck' New's dub style remix of "Pictures Of You" as the one that inspired him to take a more adventurous path. Smith notes, "That mix turned the music on its head, but at the same time left the essential heart of the song intact. As soon as I heard it, I updated the entire Mixed Up plan. My revised ambition was to compile an album that was contemporary without being dated, immediate without being obvious, musically inspiring, rhythmically exciting and sonically great!"

Two tracks on the album, "A Forest" and "The Walk," were not just remixed but entirely re-recorded, as the multi-track tapes for both songs had long been lost. Both songs were reconstructed in the studio with producer Mark Saunders, using original instruments and gear.

The band convened over five days in June 1990 to record a new track for Mixed Up. After a certain amount of fraught experimenting with beats, loops and sequenced bass lines, Smith decided to change the vibe. A demo entitled "PhaseAGE" that had previously been deemed 'too rock' was committed to tape as "Never Enough" and was released as a single in September 1990. The "Closer Mix" of "Close To Me" soon followed this and both songs were accompanied by customarily deranged Tim Pope videos.

With Mixed Up finally released, Smith felt he could at last move on, confident in a reenergized and reintegrated band. Smith continues, "The whole of 1990 was essentially spent emerging from the shadow of Disintegration, and we managed to do it in a creatively satisfying way; by the end of the year, I couldn't wait to start work on new songs for the next record."

Once the remaining 1981 to 1990 12" / extended mixes were compiled, Robert realized that there were too many for one CD and too few for two CD's. His solution was to deliver an entire disc of brand new mixes.

"I wanted a 3-disc package, but we didn't have enough 'historic' remixes - for a while I thought the 'extra-extras' CD would be Cure songs re-mixed by choice artists, rather than by choice re-mixers... that then got me thinking maybe I should have a go at one... so in early August 2017, I decided to experiment with Three Imaginary Boys. It is a pretty sparse multi-track; I pulled it apart at home and finished the initial re-mix in one session - and I really enjoyed the whole process," says Smith.

By choosing favorite songs rather than the usual singles, one of Smith's objectives was to illustrate the variety of the Cure catalogue, and by October of 2017 working on songs in chronological release order, he had remixed entirely the 16 songs that appear on Torn Down: Mixed Up Extras 2018.

For the Torn Down cover, Robert decided on a self-portrait painted in oils during the summer of 1990 which was originally intended as the sleeve for Mixed Up. He chose Torn Down as the title for the 'extra-extras' album inspired by the way he had 'torn down' Never Enough, stripping the song back to resemble his original 1990 PhaseAGE demo. "I felt it was a good way to bring the project back full circle...in a Mixed Up kind of way," states Smith.

The Cure's MIXED UP [DELUXE EDITION] will be available on June 15 as a 3CD set for ($24.98). Also available the same day, are the 2LP vinyl sets of Mixed Up ($34.98) and Torn Down: Mixed Up Extras 2018 ($34.98). Both albums have been Half Speed Mastered by Robert Smith and Tim Young at Metropolis Studios, London and are pressed on 180-gram vinyl and are housed in Gatefold Sleeves.
