Restored And Remastered Audio Versions Of The Rare Early Performance Available Digitally From Rhino Today

DVD, Blu-ray, And Digital Video Versions Also Available Now

Los Angeles, CA - After the band's self-titled debut album had spent a year in the US Top 20, rock's conquering heroes played a sold-out show at London's celebrated Rainbow Theatre on April 27, 1978. Opening with "Long, Long Way From Home," fans were treated to a magnificent display of musicianship and performance, including hit singles "Feels Like The First Time" and "Cold As Ice," as well as an exclusive preview of two tracks from the upcoming Double Vision album, "Hot Blooded" and "Double Vision."

Today, Rhino releases the digital audio version of the concert film, FOREIGNER LIVE AT THE RAINBOW '78, which will be available to download and stream on all digital service platforms by going here. The film is also now available on DVD, Blu-ray, and digital video from Eagle Vision that can be found here.

Featuring the classic Foreigner lineup of Mick Jones (lead guitar, keyboards, backing vocals), Lou Gramm (lead vocals, percussion), Ian McDonald (guitars, keyboards, sax, flute, backing vocals), Al Greenwood (keyboards, synthesizer), Ed Gagliardi (bass, backing vocals) and Dennis Elliott (drums, backing vocals), this show captures the essence of a group who would go on to become one of the world's best-selling bands of all time.

Forty years later, this definitive performance by the original band has been restored from the original film reels, remixed and remastered for this release.

"1978 was an absolutely magical time for the band," remembers Mick Jones, "and to come back over to the UK to play a headline show at the legendary Rainbow really was a dream come true. The audience was amazing that night. We couldn't have wished for a better show."

As Foreigner's music continues to resonate with fans old and new, the band celebrated their 40th anniversary playing amphitheaters and arenas throughout 2018.

LOS ANGELES – Joni Mitchell – one of the world’s most-remarkable artists – turned 75 November 7, 2018. To celebrate this milestone, The Music Center, Los Angeles’ premiere performing arts center, assembled an incredible group of singers and musicians at The Music Center’s Dorothy Chandler Pavilion to perform Mitchell’s songs at a pair of sold-out shows that garnered rave reviews by those in attendance. THE MUSIC CENTER PRESENTS JONI 75: A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION, a DVD compilation of 21 of those standout performances, will be available on March 29, 2019, from Rhino for $19.98.

The star-studded list of performers represents a vast cross-section of genres, a true testament to the influence Mitchell’s music has had since her 1968 debut. Performers include Brandi Carlile; Glen Hansard; Emmylou Harris; Norah Jones; Chaka Khan; Diana Krall; Kris Kristofferson; Los Lobos with La Marisoul, Cesar Castro, and Xochi Flores; Graham Nash; Seal; James Taylor; and Rufus Wainwright.  The concerts were led by co-musical directors and Mitchell collaborators Brian Blade and Jon Cowherd.

Rachel Moore, president and CEO of The Music Center, said, “We were so fortunate to be able to produce two concerts that honored one of the world’s most inspirational and dynamic artists, Joni Mitchell; they were once-in-a-lifetime experiences for all those able to attend and celebrate her. Now, thanks to our partners at Rhino, so many more people will see and experience Joni’s extraordinary talents expressed by other incredible music legends whose lives and music were deeply impacted by her artistry.”

The performances highlight songs from all stages of Mitchell’s career and touch upon many of her most-treasured albums. Seal delivered a standout moment with his tender version of “Both Sides, Now,” a song from Mitchell’s second album, Clouds (1969), which earned her the first of eight career Grammy® Awards.

Jones spanned 20 years of Mitchell’s music with two songs: the title track from Court and Spark (1974) and “Borderline” from Turbulent Indigo (1994), which won the Grammy for Best Pop Album. Wainwright, however, took a different approach and focused instead on a single album with performances of “All I Want” and the title track from Blue (1971), an album that’s widely regarded as one of the greatest of all time.

Throughout the show, performers delivered personal takes on some of their favorites from Mitchell’s songbook. Taylor sang “River” from Blue and “Woodstock” from Ladies of the Canyon (1970), albums that Mitchell recorded around the time the two were dating. The lone exception was Nash, who performed “Our House,” a song he wrote about living with Mitchell in Laurel Canyon. To close the show, all the performers returned to the stage for a group singalong to Mitchell’s best-known song, “Big Yellow Taxi.”

A CD version of THE MUSIC CENTER PRESENTS JONI 75: A BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION will be available separately on March 8, 2019.

AMAZING GRACE: THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS
TO BE RELEASED ON VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME

Expanded Version Of The Queen Of Soul's Grammy®-Winning
Gospel Album Makes Its Vinyl Debut As A Four-LP Set;
Available from Rhino On March 22

LOS ANGELES - Amazing Grace - Aretha Franklin's biggest-selling album and the best-selling live gospel album of all time - is enjoying a revival nearly 50 years after it was recorded. It follows the debut late last year of the long-awaited documentary about the making of that legendary double live album, which opened to rave reviews.

CBS will also be honoring Franklin's career on March 10 with Aretha: A Grammy® Tribute To The Queen Of Soul. Hosted by Tyler Perry, the two-hour special features performances by Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, and BeBe Winans, as well as recent Grammy nominees Brandi Carlile, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe, and SZA.

Rhino will continue to celebrate Franklin with the release of AMAZING GRACE: THE COMPLETE RECORDINGS on vinyl for the first time ever. Available on March 22, just three days before Franklin's birthday, the set ($99.98) includes four, 180-gram LPs that contain both of Aretha's transcendent performances at the New Temple Missionary Baptist Church, which were recorded in Los Angeles on January 13 and 14, 1972.

Among the many signature moments that make up Franklin's remarkable career, these performances clearly stand out as some of her finest work. They were recorded over two nights as the singer performed church standards like "Precious Memories," "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "How I Got Over," the latter written by gospel legend Clara Ward, who was listening in the audience. The performances were also attended by Franklin's father, the famed Reverend C.L. Franklin; Clara Ward and Mother Ward of the Ward Family Singers; and Mick Jagger and Charlie Watts of the Rolling Stones, who were in town recording Exile On Main Street.

Released on June 1, 1972, Amazing Grace would go on to sell more than two million copies in the in U.S. alone. It was not only the best-selling album of Franklin's career, but it still also holds the record as the best-selling live gospel album of all time. In addition, the album also earned Franklin a Grammy award, her first for Best Soul Gospel Performance.

Originally, Amazing Grace included 13 songs, plus remarks by Reverend C.L. Franklin. In 1999, the album was remastered and expanded to include all the recordings from both nights.

Initially, a documentary was planned to accompany the Amazing Grace album, but technical issues kept the film from being released for nearly 50 years. That changed last November when Amazing Grace, at long last, premiered at the 2018 DOC NYC, America's largest documentary film festival.

"Led Zeppelin Playlist Generator" Allows Fans To Make
Their Own Personalized Led Zeppelin Playlists
And Design Their Name In The Band's Famous Font

In January 1969, Led Zeppelin was unleashed on the world with the release of their trailblazing debut album. Just 10 months later, in October 1969, the band's equally groundbreaking follow-up album Led Zeppelin II was released. 50 years later, Led Zeppelin remains one of the most important bands in music history whose songs continue to be discovered and embraced by each new generation.

To kick off the celebration of the band's historic golden anniversary, a new career-spanning digital album Led Zeppelin x Led Zeppelin was released last fall on all digital download and streaming platforms. Today, the band has kicked off a new playlist program that will allow fans and fellow artists to assemble their own, personalized Led Zeppelin playlists using the LED ZEPPELIN PLAYLIST GENERATOR. Via the generator, fans can build a playlist using any track from the Led Zeppelin catalog, including all their studio and live albums plus the deluxe editions released over the last few years. Once complete, the LED ZEPPELIN PLAYLIST GENERATOR will then create custom, personalized cover art to accompany the playlist and allow fans to share via social media. Fans can also use the program to generate their own personalized social media profile picture of their name in the famous Led Zeppelin font. Visit the site here.

The program launched today with playlists curated by Jack White, Maná, and Royal Blood, all of which cite Led Zeppelin as critical influences on their music, and will continue with playlists from other artists throughout the year.

LED ZEPPELIN x JACK WHITE features 10 tracks encompassing many stages of the band's career from their debut album ("How Many More Times") and early BBC Sessions ("Traveling Riverside Blues"), all the way through to "Two Ones Are Won" and "St. Tristan's Sword," which were unearthed rare tracks released for the first time during the band's recent reissue series. "They are an immovable force in music," says White. "I don't trust anyone who doesn't like them."

LED ZEPPELIN x MANÁ includes 16 songs selected by drummer Alex "El Animal" González, singer Fher Olivera, and guitarist Sergio Vallin. The list is a tour de force of classic tracks that plays like a Led Zeppelin greatest hits collection including "Kashmir," "Rock And Roll," "Black Dog," "Whole Lotta Love," "Ramble On," and "Communication Breakdown." "Led Zeppelin is a band that was so innovative in its sound, composition, and live concerts, that it continues and will continue to inspire many musicians and many groups," says González. "Undoubtedly one of the best bands in the history of rock."

LED ZEPPELIN x ROYAL BLOOD spotlights seven songs selected by band members Mike Kerr and Ben Thatcher including some of the band's biggest hits such as "Immigrant Song" and "Good Times Bad Times" along with some beloved album tracks such as "In The Light" from Physical Graffiti. "Led Zeppelin's magic has always been about the chemistry that existed between the four members," says Kerr. "Nearly 50 years on and the quality of the songs, the guts and the swag on these recordings, is untouched."
