The Last Waltz Returns To Movie Theaters For One Day On November 5
LOS ANGELES – Rhino Records launches a 45th-anniversary celebration of The Band’s iconic concert film, The Last Waltz, with festivities including a new 3-LP audiophile pressing - arriving on October 6 at Rocktober participating retailers – screenings and panels, a release party, and the film’s triumphant return to theaters.
Celebrations kicked off at Americanafest in Nashville with “The Eternal Waltz: Curating and Perpetuating the Legacy of The Band” panel, including Bob Santelli (Executive Director of the Bruce Springsteen Archives and Center for American Music), Amy Helm (Levon Helm’s daughter, singer-songwriter, and owner of Levon Helm Studios), and Olivier Chastan (Iconoclast founder).
