LOS ANGELES – Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO), the multi-platinum rock holiday sensation celebrates the release of their hit album The Ghosts of Christmas Eve in stunning immersive sound with a new version that includes the complete story narration from the Ghosts of Christmas Eve touring show.

Mixed by BJ Ramone, son of legendary producer Phil Ramone, the new mixes deliver the opportunity for fans to experience the surround mix of TSO’s incredible live performances at home. This album also delivers the narrative enhancements that make Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s concept albums and live shows so unique.

“The music and stories of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra lends itself so well to the immersive format,” shared Ramone. “It was so much fun and such a pleasure bringing this album into the world of Dolby Atmos. That being said, it was truly a team effort with everyone from the TSO Team including Dave Wittman, Jon Tucker, and mastering engineer, Michael Romanowski of Coast Mastering.”

A product of the imagination of TSO’s late founder Paul O’Neill, “The Ghosts of Christmas Eve” follows the journey of a runaway who breaks into an abandoned vaudeville theater on December 24th. While seeking shelter from the cold, the teen is discovered by the theater’s caretaker who uses the ghosts and spirits from the building’s past to turn her life around. Musically, the rock opera features such enduring hits and fan-favorites as "Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24," "O’ Come All Ye Faithful," "Good King Joy," "Christmas Canon," "Music Box Blues," "Promises To Keep," and "This Christmas Day."

The band is also performing The Ghosts of Christmas Eve live on their annual holiday tour for 2023, "The Ghosts of Christmas Eve – the Best of TSO & More."

LOS ANGELES – In 2005, Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda released The Rising Tied, the platinum-certified debut album from his hip-hop side project, Fort Minor. The record showcases his collaborations with artists like Common and John Legend and includes the quadruple-platinum single “Remember The Name” that Shinoda recorded with Styles of Beyond.

Warner Records will reissue THE RISING TIED as a double LP that includes four bonus tracks making their vinyl debut. “Be Somebody,” “There They Go,” and “The Hard Way” first appeared in 2005 on CD and Digital Deluxe Editions of the original release. The fourth bonus track, “Welcome,” was originally released in 2015 as a standalone single that peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot Rock Songs chart.

THE RISING TIED will be available December 15 as a double-LP on black vinyl for $34.98 and a limited-edition, slip cased version in apple red vinyl for $44.98. A limited edition picture disc will also be released on December 15 that features zoetrope designs that come to life when the records spin on the turntable. When it debuted in November 2005, THE RISING TIED quickly garnered critical acclaim for its innovative blend of hip-hop, alternative rock, and electronic music, singles including “Petrified” and “Believe Me” showcasing Shinoda’s diverse musical talents and lyrical prowess. Various hip-hop and R&B artists (Black Thought, Eric Bobo, and Lupe Fiasco) recorded songs with Shinoda, allowing him to explore new sounds and styles across the record, from the iconic sports anthem “Remember the Name” to “Where’d You Go” (featuring Shinoda, Holly Brook, and Jonah Matranga), the album’s highest-charting single, peaking at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 on its way to selling more than a million copies in the U.S.

“(Yes It’s) Christmas” is available today through all digital and streaming platforms, along with a Dolby Atmos immersive audio mix.

Like many of the tracks from the multi-platinum-selling band, “(Yes It’s) Christmas” began as an extended jam, which producer Jerry Goldstein sculpted into the final song. Frontman Lonnie Jordan’s lyrics manifest a laid-back, warm-weather Christmas, where kids from all types of neighborhoods dream of Santa dropping off his goodies just for them and the joy of the season. Fans will hear seasonal staples like bells while also being treated to WAR’s unique instrumentation, including a guiro that makes this new holiday favorite instantly recognizable as a WAR tune.

Adding to the holiday cheer, later this month, WAR will release The World Is a Ghetto: 50th Anniversary Collector’s Edition. Limited to 4,000 copies, this 5-LP boxed set will be available exclusively at select independent music retailers on November 24 for Record Store Day Black Friday. Curated by WAR’s producer, Jerry Goldstein, it features a newly remastered version of the original album (the Billboard No. 1 best-selling album in America upon its original release in 1973) along with unreleased session bonus tracks. There are also previously unheard “making of” recordings that provide a fascinating glimpse into the evolution of each of the six original album recordings, from the first note to the finished track.
