LOS ANGELES - In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got To Do With It, a brand new suite of special edition albums are to be released on April 26. The 4CD/1DVD boxed set will include the original album remastered on CD1, with CD2 featuring a collection of edits, remixes and acapella. CD3 and CD4 features Turner’s live show at the Blockbuster Pavilion in 1993 remastered, which can also be watched on the DVD along with three music videos. The boxed set also includes a poster and a 24-page booklet. Additional album formats include a 1-LP and 2-CD and is available to stream digitally.

Originally released on June 15, 1993, What’s Love Got To Do With It was a commercial and critical success. The album was the soundtrack for the Tina Turner biographical film of the same name and reached No.1 in the UK, also making the top 10 in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Canada, and the top 20 in the US. The album went on to be a platinum record across the world, including the US, UK and Switzerland. It was a collection of songs, some of which were re-recorded from Turner’s ‘Ike & Tina Turner’ period, including “A Fool In Love,” as well as five brand new songs, one of which - “I Don't Wanna Fight" - became a top 10 hit in both the US and UK. The album also includes Turner's version of The Trammps' disco classic "Disco Inferno," a song she had often performed live in concert in the late 70s but never previously recorded in the studio. Two tracks from her 1984 breakthrough solo album Private Dancer are also included - the title track and a different re-mixed version of "I Might Have Been Queen."

Turner has sold over 200 million records and has had 10 UK top 10 hit singles and nine UK top 10 albums and was the first female artist to have a top 40 hit in six consecutive decades in the UK. Her albums combined are 20x platinum in the UK and 9x platinum in the US whilst also achieving huge sales throughout the rest of the world. She has won eight Grammy® Awards and has been nominated for 25. She was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame® in 1991 and has stars on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and St. Louis Walk of Fame. Her 1988 Break Every Rule tour broke the world record for the largest paying audience at a solo concert, with 184,000 at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro, and Rolling Stone Magazine named her No.17 on the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time and No.63 on the 100 Greatest Artists of All Time.

30th ANNIVERSARY EDITION FEATURING TWO PREVIOUSLY UNRELEASED TRACKS

1CD & 2LP SET AVAILABLE ON BLACK VINYL FOR THE FIRST TIME IN 30 YEARS

REMASTERED BY ROBERT SMITH & MILES SHOWELL AT ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS

RELEASING MARCH 22

LOS ANGELES - Paris, the double live album by The Cure, has turned 30 years old, and to celebrate, remastered 2LP and 1CD versions will be reissued featuring two bonus tracks.

Paris has been remastered by Robert Smith and Miles Showell at Abbey Road Studios, London. The LP, which is being issued on black vinyl for the first time since 1993, was cut by Miles Showell at Abbey Road.

Paris was the second of two live records documenting the band’s 1992 tour in support of their ninth album, Wish. The first album, Show, was released in September 1993 and reissued in July last year.

The 14-track album was recorded over three nights at Le Zénith de Paris in October 1992 and includes the singles “Lovesong,” “Catch,” “A Letter To Elise,” “Charlotte Sometimes,” “Close To Me” and the perennial Cure live favorites “Play For Today” and “One Hundred Years.”

The Cure’s 30th-anniversary re-issue of Paris has now been expanded with the addition of two recently discovered previously unreleased tracks, “Shake Dog Shake” and “Hot Hot Hot!!!” which now top and tail the album. The album running order has also been reconfigured accordingly.

In December, The Cure concluded their 90-date, 33-country ‘Shows Of A Lost World’ tour to overwhelming fan and critical acclaim.

Live 1977 Performance Of “Take It To The Limit” From The Capitol Centre Available Now On The Eagles’ Official YouTube Channel

LOS ANGELES – As the Eagles’ highly anticipated final tour continues to sweep across America, Rhino announced today that it will release a definitive, career-spanning collection that combines the band’s greatest hits with beloved album tracks and classic live performances.

TO THE LIMIT: THE ESSENTIAL COLLECTION will be available on April 12 as a 3-CD set ($24.98), a deluxe 6-LP set on 180-gram vinyl ($149.98), and digitally. A limited edition, embossed lithograph will be available as a gift with purchase exclusively at Eagles.com.

The band’s stirring live performance of “Take It To The Limit” from their legendary March 21, 1977 concert at the Capitol Centre in Largo, MD, is available to view on the Eagles’ official YouTube channel today.

TO THE LIMIT thoughtfully curates 51 songs from the studio albums and live recordings the Eagles released between 1972 and 2020. All of the band’s best-known tracks are here, including the #1 hits “New Kid In Town,” “One Of These Nights,” “Best Of My Love,” “Hotel California,” and “Heartache Tonight.” The set also features plenty of fan favorites with songs like “Desperado,” “Victim Of Love,” and “In The City.”

Beyond the studio, TO THE LIMIT highlights the Eagles’ impressive touring legacy with more than a dozen electrifying live tracks. These feature selections from Eagles Live (1980) – including the Top 40 hit “Seven Bridges Road” – as well as songs from Hell Freezes Over (1994), The Millennium Concert (2000), Live At The Forum ’76 (2017), and Live From The Forum MMXVIII (2020).

The Eagles – Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill and Deacon Frey – are currently on the road for the band’s final tour, aptly titled “The Long Goodbye,” with U.S. dates through March on sale now. The band will also head overseas starting May 31 for a residency at the new Co-Op Live in Manchester, the largest indoor arena in the UK. Due to overwhelming ticket demand, the tour is expected to extend into 2025.

With a remarkable 50-plus years of touring experience, the Eagles have performed over 1,000 concerts worldwide, accounting for more than 15 million tickets. The band’s tours have consistently ranked in the Top 10 of both concert industry publications, Billboard and Pollstar.

Formed in 1971, the Eagles pioneered a uniquely American musical style, blending elements of country, folk, R&B, rock, and pop. Since then, it has become one of the most creatively and commercially successful bands of all time. Despite today’s fractured rock ’n’ roll landscape, the Eagles retain a timeless appeal that transcends both generations and genres, solidifying the band’s status as a musical icon.

The Eagles have sold more than 150 million albums worldwide, scoring six #1 albums and five chart-topping singles. They have earned six GRAMMY Awards, were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998 and received the Kennedy Center Honors in 2016. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 stands as the best-selling album in history (certified 38-times platinum), while Hotel California ranks as the third best-selling U.S. album in history (certified 26-times platinum). Check Eagles.com for full band and tour information.

Rhino Celebrates Black Excellence In R&B

Vinyl Reissues For Keith Sweat’s Make It Last Forever And Eric Benét’s A Day In The Life

Available February 9 Exclusively at F.A.M.S. Coalition Stores

LOS ANGELES – Rhino Records celebrates the start of Black History Month today by announcing vinyl reissues of albums by two legendary architects of modern R&B: Keith Sweat’s triple-platinum debut, Make It Last Forever, and Eric Benét’s breakthrough release, A Day In The Life.

To help celebrate Black History Month, Rhino is also partnering with F.A.M.S. Coalition (Forever a Music Store), a collective of black-owned independent music retailers across the U.S. Both records will be available on February 9 at F.A.M.S.-affiliated retailers. A Day In The Life is making its vinyl debut as a double LP, and Make It Last Forever is returning to vinyl for the first time in more than 30 years. The albums will be available at general retail and Rhino.com on February 23.

In addition, F.A.M.S.-affiliated stores will be offering an exclusive “Welcome to the R&B Suite” giveaway that includes a U-Turn Audio red turntable, both albums on vinyl, a poster, and more. Gift-with-purchase swag, including printed and digital Valentine’s Day cards, will also be available exclusively at F.A.M.S. locations and online.

Keith Sweat made an impressive debut with Make It Last Forever, a triple-platinum album about love and romance that showcased his smooth vocals and soulful melodies. A hit out of the gate, the lead single, “I Want Her,” went to #1 on the R&B chart, peaked at #5 on the Hot 100, and was certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. (RIAA). The album produced three more Top 10 R&B hits: the title track, “Don’t Stop Your Love,” and “Something Just Ain’t Right.” In 1998, Make It Last Forever ranked at the top of Billboard’s year-end R&B chart, establishing Sweat as a trailblazer in contemporary R&B.

Eric Benét’s sophomore album, A Day In The Life, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. On the album’s first single, Benét is joined by guest vocalist Faith Evans for “Georgy Porgy,” a song the rock band Toto originally recorded in 1979. Benét’s version was popular in Europe and the U.S., where it was a hit on the R&B and pop charts. The album’s second single, “Spend My Life With You,” was an even bigger hit. Featuring singer Tamia, the song soared to the top of the Hot R&B chart, where it stayed for three straight weeks. The single was certified gold and nominated for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group at the 2000 Grammy® Awards.
