LOS ANGELES – Between 1970 and 1976, James Taylor released six albums with Warner Bros. Records that became the foundation for his unparalleled career that includes five Grammy® Awards, induction into the Songwriters and Rock and Roll Halls of Fame, and more than 100 million records sold worldwide.

Rhino pays tribute to Taylor with a new collection that introduces newly remastered versions of all his Warner Bros. albums. THE COMPLETE WARNER BROS. ALBUMS: 1970-1976 will be available on July 19 from Rhino as both 6-CD ($44.98) and 180-gram, 6-LP ($119.98) sets as well as digitally. This collection brings several albums back into print on vinyl for the first time in many years. The newly remastered version of “Fire And Rain” is available now on all digital download and streaming services.

Rhino.com will also offer exclusive bundles that pair both the CD and LP versions of the set with a 12” x 12” lithograph of a classic Taylor photo from 1970. Additionally, the first 350 pre-orders of the LP version from Rhino.com with come with a signed version of the lithograph.

Each album in the set has been remastered, a process overseen by Peter Asher, who signed Taylor to the Beatles’ Apple Records label in 1968, worked as his manager for 25 years, and originally produced several of these albums.

In the collection’s liner notes Asher writes: “Revisiting these albums several decades later has been revelatory, nostalgic, and exciting. I have heard bits and pieces frequently over the years, of course, but listening with concentration and in detail to each of the original tapes without interruption has been a thrilling luxury.”

THE COMPLETE WARNER BROS. ALBUMS: 1970-1976 includes: Sweet Baby James (1970), Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon (1971), One Man Dog (1972), Walking Man (1974), Gorilla (1975), and In the Pocket (1976).

The collection is filled with some of Taylor’s most iconic and beloved songs like “Sweet Baby James,” “Fire And Rain,” “Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight,” “Walking Man,” “How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved By You),” “Mexico,” “Shower The People” and Carole King’s “You’ve Got A Friend,” the later which was Taylor’s first #1 hit and earned him his first Grammy Award (Best Male Pop Vocal) in 1971.

The collection also offers up some spectacular deep cuts like his acoustic lullaby “You Can Close Your Eyes” from Mud Slide Slim and the Blue Horizon; the 10-minute song cycle that closes One Dog Man; “Rock ’n’ Roll Music Is Now” from Walking Man, which features backing vocals by Paul and Linda McCartney; and “Don’t Be Sad ’Cause Your Sun Is Down” from In the Pocket, a song Taylor wrote and recorded with Stevie Wonder.

Three-Week Rollout Of Releases Begins On July 9

LOS ANGELES - Rhino recently announced a robust slate of boxed sets focusing around the 50th Anniversary of Woodstock, including Woodstock - Back To The Garden: The Definitive 50th Anniversary Archive , an unprecedented 38-CD collection featuring a near complete chronological reconstruction of every artist performance at the festival. The centerpieces of Rhino's "Summer of '69 - Peace, Love and Music" are two new Woodstock collections, followed by several Woodstock-era artists who performed at the festival, like Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

The "Summer of '69" series opens on July 9 with new colored-vinyl versions of the two classic Woodstock collections everyone knows and loves: WOODSTOCK: MUSIC FROM THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK AND MORE (3-LP, half blue/half hot pink vinyl, $49.98) and WOODSTOCK TWO (2-LP, half orange/half mint green vinyl, $34.98). Vinyl Me Please will also offer a limited edition boxed set that bundles all four Woodstock vinyl collections in an exclusive 10-LP collection. The set can be preordered now at www.vinylmeplease.com.

Two other vinyl collections are scheduled for release on July 9. THE B-52's CELEBRATE COSMIC THING 30TH ANNIVERSARY WITH EXPANDED EDITION

The 2-CD Collection Includes Newly Remastered Original Album,

The B-52's Will Tour Europe And The U.S. This Summer

LOS ANGELES - The B-52's soared in 1989, propelled by the band's first Top 10 hits "Love Shack" and "Roam." They were breakthrough singles from the Athens, Georgia-based group's fifth studio release, Cosmic Thing. That record reached #3 on the Billboard Album Chart, sold more than four million copies in the U.S., and burnished the B-52's reputation as the World's Greatest Party Band.

It will be the 30th anniversary of Cosmic Thing this summer and the B-52's are taking the party on the road with an extensive tour of Europe and the U.S. (see below for dates). Also, Rhino will introduce an anniversary edition of the album that features newly remastered sound, B-sides, remixes and unreleased concert recordings from the 1990's Cosmic Tour.

On June 28 - one day after the album's official 30th anniversary - Rhino will release COSMIC THING: 30th ANNIVERSARY EXPANDED EDITION. Available for $24.98, the two-disc set is accompanied by a booklet that includes liner notes from journalist and author T. Cole Rachel, song lyrics, and unseen photos of the band from that time period. The music will be available on the same day through digital download and streaming services.

The COSMIC THING anniversary edition opens with a newly remastered version of the original album, which was recorded by Fred Schneider, Kate Pierson, Cindy Wilson and Keith Strickland, and co-produced by Nile Rodgers and Don Was. Along with the original album, the two-disc set also includes five newly remastered bonus tracks that spotlight B-sides and remixes like "B-52's Megamix" and "Roam" (Extended Remix).

The collection's second disc is an unreleased live album that captures the B-52's performing live in Texas in August 1990 during the band's Cosmic Tour. The performance includes seven songs from Cosmic Thing along with several other B-52's classics such as "Rock Lobster" and "Dance This Mess Around" from the group's 1979 self-titled debut; and "Private Idaho" and "Give Me Back My Man" from 1980's Wild Planet.

All songs were recorded during the band's August 4 show at The Pavillion in The Woodlands, Texas except for "Whammy Kiss," which was recorded the previous night during the band's show in Dallas.
