WILCO

Deluxe Editions Of A.M. And Being There Feature Newly Remastered Versions
Of The Original Albums Expanded With Rare And Unreleased Recordings That Have Never Been Heard Before

CD And Vinyl Versions Available On  December 1 From Rhino

LOS ANGELES – Wilco continues to make excellent records and play shows that stir the soul, but the group invented the terrain it continues to explore more than 20 years ago with its first two albums – A.M. (1995) and Being There (1996). On December 1, Rhino will revisit those landmark albums with remastered versions of the originals expanded with rare and unreleased music that will be new to even the most dedicated fans.

A.M.: DELUXE EDITION includes the original album plus eight unreleased bonus tracks and will be available on CD ($14.98) and double-LP ($34.98).  BEING THERE: DELUXE EDITION features loads of never-before-heard songs, alternate takes and live performances and will be available as a five-CD collection ($39.98) and four-LP set ($79.98).  Fans are also invited to purchase the album directly from wilcoworld.net, where they will have access to exclusive colored vinyl limited to 2,500 copies of each album. Digital formats of both albums will also be released on the same day.

After his former band Uncle Tupelo broke up, singer/songwriter Jeff Tweedy took the bulk of the band—most notably bassist John Stirratt and drummer Ken Coomer—and quickly recorded Wilco’s 1995 debut, A.M. The album includes several fan favorites like “Casino Queen” and the funny-sad ode to drunk driving and unrequited love, “Passenger Side.”

The new DELUXE EDITION offers up eight unreleased bonus tracks that feature an early version of “Outtasite (Outta Mind)” and “When You Find Trouble,” which is the last studio recording made by Uncle Tupelo. In the album’s liner note, Stirratt writes “Listening back to records 15 to 20 years later, I’m always taken with the confident but guileless quality of bands in their 20s, that strange mixture of innocence and conviction, and this is one of those records—we were barely a band at that point, just trying to make some noise.”

With its sophomore effort, the double album Being There, Wilco maintained the gravitas of roots music it established on A.M. without being hemmed in by it, creating the 21st century version of folk music it later perfected on records like Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and The Whole Love. Being There mixes happy-go-lucky rockers (“Monday”) and ballads (“Red-Eyed And Blue”), with two signature songs from the Wilco canon – “Misunderstood” and “Sunken Treasure.”

The DELUXE EDITION builds on the original with 15 bonus tracks released for the first time, including alternate versions of tracks “I Got You” and “Say You Miss Me.” The CD and digital version also features Wilco’s 20-song performance at the Troubadour from November 12, 1996, combining songs from A.M. (“I Must Be High” and a full-throttle punk version of “Passenger Side,”) Being There (“Kingpin” and “Forget The Flowers”) and a few Uncle Tupelo tracks (“The Long Cut” and “Gun.”) Also included on all formats are four songs the band played on radio station KCRW on November 13, 1996.  As a touring band, many of these songs can be found on Wilco’s current set-list as notable fan favorites that have evolved over the years.

RAMONES: ROCKET TO RUSSIA
40th ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION

3CD/1 Vinyl LP Version Of The Band's Third Album Features Two Mixes Of The
Original, Plus Rarities And Unreleased Studio And Live Recordings

Available November 24 From Rhino

LOS ANGELES - The Ramones released its second album of the calendar year (and third overall) on November 4, 1977, capping off one of the biggest years in the history of punk with Rocket To Russia. Among the band's best-loved albums, it features classics like "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" and "Rockaway Beach" along with their signature covers of "Do You Wanna Dance?" and "Surfin' Bird." It's also the last album ever recorded by all four founding members, as drummer Tommy Ramone left soon after to focus on writing and producing.

To celebrate the album's 40-year anniversary, Rhino will release two versions on November 24. The 3CD/1LP ROCKET TO RUSSIA: 40th ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION will be available for $64.98. It contains two different mixes of the album: a remastered version of the original and a new 40th Anniversary Tracking Mix by original Rocket To Russia engineer/mixer Ed Stasium. The collection also includes a number of unreleased studio recordings, plus a previously unissued recording of the band's 1977 concert in Glasgow, Scotland. Click here to listen to the unreleased live version of "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker" from the show.

The Deluxe Edition will be produced in a limited and numbered edition of 15,000 copies worldwide and comes packaged in a 12 x 12 hardcover book. Along with the music, the set also features stories about the band by Sire Records founder Seymour Stein, details about making the album by Stasium, and extensive liner notes by renowned music writer and co-founder of Creem Magazine, Jaan Uhelszki.

The newly remastered version of the original album will also be released as a single CD ($7.98). Both titles will be available via digital download and streaming services as well.

The first disc of the Deluxe Edition features a remastered version of the original stereo mix for Rocket To Russia, plus the 2017 40th Anniversary Tracking Mix created by Stasium, which provides a back-to-basics version of the album, and a different track listing from the 1977 original. The 2017 40th Anniversary Tracking Mix is also featured on the LP that accompanies the Deluxe Edition. (Early in 2018, Rhino will release the remastered original stereo mix separately on vinyl.)

Stasium provides some details on the new Tracking Mix in the set's liner notes: "When putting together this new Tracking Mix, I decided to include the versions of 'I Don't Care' and 'It's A Long Way Back to Germany,' since they were recorded during the Rocket To Russia sessions at Mediasound, and are completely different takes that have never been heard before. 'Sheena' has been omitted, as it was recorded in a totally different session a few months prior, in-between the Leave Home and Rocket To Russia albums."

Two dozen rare and unreleased recordings are found on the second disc, including rough mixes from sessions at Mediasound and The Power Station. There's also an early version of "Needles And Pins" with Tommy on drums, the B-side single mix of "Babysitter," an alternate version of "It's A Long Way Back To Germany" with Dee Dee on vocals, an original radio promo with Joey Ramone, and more.

A highlight of this Deluxe Edition is the complete unreleased concert included on the third disc. This never-before-heard multi-track recording of the band's December 19, 1977 show at the Apollo Centre in Glasgow, Scotland captures the Ramones just a few days before the group recorded the classic live album It's Alive, and mixed for this 40th Anniversary edition by Ed Stasium. In Glasgow, they played songs from all three studio albums including "Blitzkrieg Bop," "Judy Is A Punk," "Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment," and "California Sun."

EAGLES TO RELEASE HOTEL CALIFORNIA
40TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION ON NOVEMBER 24

Landmark Album Is Remastered And Expanded For The First Time
2-CD/1-Blu-ray Audio Collection Featuring Previously Unreleased Live Recordings

Fall Tour Dates Continue This October

LOS ANGELES – The Eagles’ Hotel California was a critical and commercial phenomenon when it was released in December 1976. The album topped the Billboard charts for eight weeks in the U.S., won two GRAMMY® Awards, sold more than 32 million copies around the world, and featured two Billboard #1 hit singles. 40 years later, it still ranks as one of the best-selling albums of all time.

This fall, the milestone album will add to its legendary lore with HOTEL CALIFORNIA: 40TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION, a new 2-CD/1-Blu-ray Audio that includes remastered sound, ten previously unreleased live recordings, as well as hi-res stereo and 5.1 mixes. Presented in an 11 x 11 hardbound book, the set also features rare and unseen photos from the era, a replica tour book, and an 11 x 22 poster. The collection will be available on November 24 for a list price of $99.98. Both a 2-CD Expanded Edition ($19.98) and 1-CD ($9.98) will also be available, along with digital download and streaming versions.

HOTEL CALIFORNIA: 40TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION opens with a remastered version of the original album, featuring two Billboard #1 singles — “New Kid In Town” and the title track — plus the smash hit “Life In the Fast Lane.” The album was nominated for five GRAMMY® Awards, and won for “Record of the Year” and “Best Arrangement For Voices.”

The set also marks the debut of ten live tracks that were recorded during the band’s three-night stand at the Los Angeles Forum in October 1976. The concert recordings — which were recorded about a month before the album came out — feature one of the first ever live performances of “Hotel California” and “New Kid In Town” along with other Eagles classics including  “Already Gone,” “Take It To the Limit,” and “Witchy Woman.”

The Blu-ray Audio disc that accompanies HOTEL CALIFORNIA: 40TH ANNIVERSARY DELUXE EDITION features the 5.1 Surround Sound mix originally released on DVD-A in 2001 along with a hi-resolution, 192 KHz/24-Bit stereo mix.

The Eagles made their triumphant return to the stage this summer at the Classic East/West festivals, earning raves from critics and fans alike. More live dates are planned for this fall, with the band being joined on stage once again by country superstar Vince Gill and Deacon Frey, son of Eagles founder, Glenn Frey.

HARRY POTTER:
ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS I-V

Upcoming Limited Edition Boxed Set Presents Soundtracks To The
Series' First Five Films As Double Vinyl Picture Discs

Available From Rhino On December 8

LOS ANGELES - The Harry Potter film series is one of the most successful cinematic franchises of all time and it continues to inspire a passionate and growing following around the world. One key that helped bring author J.K. Rowling's books to life on the big screen was the evocative music created for the films by great composers like John Williams, Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper.

This fall, Rhino will transport you to J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World with a limited edition boxed set that features the soundtracks to the series' first five films pressed on vinyl picture discs (10 LPs). HARRY POTTER: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS I-V will be available on December 8.

Each soundtrack is contained in a gatefold sleeve that is die-cut on both sides. The images used for the picture discs are stills taken from the related films. The one exception is Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix, which also features an etching on the last side of the LP. The set also includes a download card so the music can be downloaded.

HARRY POTTER: ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACKS I-V includes soundtracks for: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (2001), Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007).

The soundtracks to the first three films were all composed by John Williams, who is responsible for some of the most popular film scores in history. One song that debuted on the Philosopher's Stonesoundtrack - "Hedwig's Theme" - became the main musical theme for the series and appears in all of the Harry Potter films.

Patrick Doyle composed the music for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005). The film's soundtrack also features three songs by a fictional rock band featured in the story whose members include Jarvis Cocker and Steve Mackey of Pulp, and Jonny Greenwood and Phil Selway of Radiohead.

Composer Nicholas Hooper created the music for Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007.) It was performed by the London Chamber Orchestra and recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London.

YES: TOPOGRAPHIC DRAMA

Legendary Prog-Rockers’ Live Album Includes 2016 Performance Of Drama In Its Entirety, Plus Selections From Tales From Topographic Oceans, And Fan Favorites

Double-CD And Triple-LP Versions Available On November 24

LOS ANGELES – In the Summer of 2016, Yes embarked upon an ambitious tour.  At each show, the band performed its 1980 album Drama in its entirety – for the first time ever – plus sides one and four from Yes’ 1973 double-album Tales From Topographic Oceans (their first number one album), together with fan favorites like “Roundabout” and “Starship Trooper.”

Rhino salutes the influential progressive rockers – who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame earlier this year – with the new live album, TOPOGRAPHIC DRAMA – LIVE ACROSS AMERICA. The music will be available on November 24 as a double-CD and a triple-LP.  Both versions feature detailed cover art designed by the band’s longtime collaborator Roger Dean.

The new collection features live performances from 12 dates recorded on the tour in February 2017, by the current Yes line-up: Steve Howe (guitars), Alan White (drums), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Billy Sherwood (bass), Jon Davison (vocals), and additional drummer for this tour Jay Schellen.

TOPOGRAPHIC DRAMA – LIVE ACROSS AMERICA highlights the best performances from the 2017 leg of the 28-show tour and mirrors the set list from those concerts. Each night, Yes opened with all six songs from Drama (1980), the band’s tenth studio album, which peaked at #2 on the U.K. album chart. Standouts include “Machine Messiah,” “Tempus Fugit” and the album’s only single “Into The Lens.”

After Drama, the band shifted gears for songs from two of its best-selling albums: “And You And I” from 1972’s Close To The Edge (RIAA platinum) and “Heart Of The Sunrise” from 1971’s Fragile (RIAA double-platinum).

Next, the group played the opening and closing tracks of its concept album, Tales From Topographic Oceans (1973). Howe’s exceptional guitar work on “The Revealing Science Of God” and White’s propulsive drumming on “Ritual” have always been regarded as ground-breaking.  The album concludes with two live staples: “Roundabout” from Fragile (1971) and “Starship Trooper” from The Yes Album (1971).

Among the world’s most influential, ground-breaking, and respected progressive rock bands, Yes was founded in 1968. The Grammy-Award® winning recording artists have sold more than 50 million records in a career that has so far spanned six decades.
