CRATE-DIGGERS OF THE WORLD UNITE: WARNER MUSIC GROUP OPENS
VAULTS TO LAUNCH FAN-SELECTED, LIMITED-RUN VINYL LABEL, RUN OUT GROOVE

Exclusive Pressings from MC5, Echo & The Bunnymen, Golden Smog,
Secret Machines and Solomon Burke Kick Off Series

NEW YORK, NY - March 28, 2017: Warner Music Group has announced the launch of RUN OUT GROOVE , a new fan-driven, vinyl-only record label. Each month, RUN OUT GROOVE allows fans to vote on the label's next high-quality vinyl pressing, chosen from three selections of either unreleased material, out-of-print material, or brand new collections compiled from the Warner Music vault. Initial offerings from RUN OUT GROOVE come from an eclectic group of artists including Echo & The Bunnymen, Golden Smog, MC5, Secret Machines, and Solomon Burke.

"Warner Music Group is home to many legendary labels - Atlantic, Warner Bros., Reprise, Elektra, Sire, Rykodisc and more - which have produced a wealth of expertly curated music over the years," said Billy Fields, Vice President, Sales, Account Management for WEA, the artist & label services arm of Warner Music Group. "What makes Run Out Groove unique is that the crate-digging community is steering the ship. We are crowd-sourcing niche, but in-demand, selections from our vast vault to be pressed on high-quality vinyl, and it's going to be a lot of fun to see where the community decides to take us."

"I am chuffed that our fans came out in droves and voted for us and that 'Run Out Groove' are releasing our live-in-Sweden recording," said Will Sergeant of Echo & The Bunnymen. "It's a historical document of another time, another place, another me and a very interesting stop off traveling the road map of the bands' life."

He added: "I love the fact that vinyl is having an amazing resurgence and many young music fans are embracing the medium. I am an avid vinyl enthusiast and my vinyl collection is a route map to my life. Having a pocket full of mp3's can't do that when you lay them out on your bedroom floor like tarot cards. The cover art of an LP is almost as important to me as the music. With LPs you feel like you have actually got something worth having, to hold and read while you listen. I love the organic visceral nature of the record, a piece of plastic that can bring forth such wondrous sound when a diamond is driven along the spiral road. It's all pretty weird when you think about it, some sort of wonderful sonic voodoo."

Each RUN OUT GROOVE release will be limited edition and individually numbered, often including previously unreleased tracks or material that has never before been available on vinyl. Each title will be available to pre-order for a strict 30-Day window via the RUN OUT GROOVE website. After the pre-order closes, the only way to purchase a copy will be via participating music retailers across the U.S., while supplies last.

The second RUN OUT GROOVE pre-order campaign - and the first to be fan-chosen - is a new live collection from Echo & The Bunnymen, It's All Live Now. Pre-orders for this album will close on Friday, March 31st.

BAD COMPANY: DELUXE EDITIONS

Double-Disc Versions Of Run With The Pack and Burnin' Sky Feature The Original Album Remastered And Expanded With Rare And Unreleased Recordings

Available From Rhino On May 26

LOS ANGELES - Bad Company recorded four classic albums in as many years, giving rise to some of the most recognizable rock songs of the Seventies, including "Rock Steady," "Run With The Pack" and the Grammy-nominated, "Feel Like Makin' Love." After releasing remastered and expanded versions of their first two albums in 2015, the band will return this spring with deluxe editions of their next two albums from that incredible run.

Run With The Pack (1976) and Burnin' Sky (1977) have been newly remastered from the original production tapes. Each has been expanded with rare and unreleased recordings taken from the original album sessions. The CD versions of these Deluxe Editions include all of the new bonus tracks, while their 180-gram vinyl counterparts offer a selection of the bonus material.

The Deluxe Editions of RUN WITH THE PACK and BURNIN' SKY will be available on May 26 for $19.98 (2CD) and $39.98 (2LP). The music will also be released digitally and available through various streaming outlets.

During a rare break from touring, Paul Rodgers, Mick Ralphs, Simon Kirke and Boz Burrell got together in France to record new songs using the Rolling Stones' mobile recording studio. Those sessions produced Run With The Pack, a 10-song album that came out in early 1976 and rose to #4 in England and #5 in America, where it sold three million copies alone. Radio stations embraced the title track along with a cover of The Coasters' "Young Blood," while "Silver, Blue & Gold" became one of the band's signature tracks, even though it was never officially released as a single.

The bonus disc that accompanies RUN WITH THE PACK: DELUXE EDITION includes unreleased early mixes for "Honey Child" and "Simple Man," as well as an extended version of the title track. There's also the previously unreleased "Let There Be Love," an outtake from the recording sessions. In fact, the acoustic version of "Do Right By Your Woman," previously only available as the B-Side of the single release of "Run With The Pack," is the only song on the bonus disc that has ever been previously released.

During the summer of 1976, the band returned to France yet again to record 12 songs for what would become Burnin' Sky. They chose Château d'Hérouville as the studio, which is where David Bowie would record Low later that same year. Burnin' Sky was released in March 1977, and broke into the Top 20 in both the U.K. and U.S.

The BURNIN' SKY: DELUXE EDITION bonus disc features unreleased versions of nearly every song on the album, including alternative takes and mixes of "Man Needs A Woman" and "Morning Sun," plus the full version of "Too Bad." The session tapes also unearthed "Unfinished Story," a song that was completed, but never released.

MICHAEL NESMITH'S MUSICAL CAREER HIGHLIGHTED ON
INFINITE TUESDAY: AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL RIFFS

Rhino Serves Up The Audio Companion To Nesmith's Autobiography With
14 Of His Best Songs With The Monkees, The First National Band, And Solo

CD And Digital Versions Available On April 14

LOS ANGELES - Michael Nesmith tells the story of his eclectic life in his upcoming book, Infinite Tuesday: An Autobiographical Riff (Crown Archetype). In it, the artist retraces his journey from his childhood in Dallas - where his single mother Bette invented Liquid Paper - to the set of "The Monkees" in Los Angeles, as well as his pioneering work in music video and virtual reality.

Before the book arrives on April 18, Rhino will release an audio companion that showcases 14 of Nez's best from his days with The Monkees, The First National Band, and solo. INFINITE TUESDAY: AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL RIFFS will be available April 14 on CD ($14.98) and digitally.

The set flows in mostly chronological order, beginning in 1965 when Nesmith recorded "The New Recruit" using the pseudonym Michael Blessing. Monkee-mania took over a year later and he spent the next four years making history and music with the quartet. Two songs by the Monkees included here neatly bookend Nesmith's tenure in the group, with "Papa Gene's Blues" from the band's 1966 self-titled debut, and "Listen To The Band" from The Monkees Present (1970), Nesmith's last album with group for more than 20 years.

The collection focuses mainly on the numerous solo albums that Nesmith recorded during the Seventies.  He started in 1970 with Magnetic South and Loose Salute, country-rock albums that featured Nesmith and The First National Band, a group he collaborated with for several years. INFINITE TUESDAY features a song from each album: "Silver Moon" from Loose Salute and "Joanne" from Magnetic South, Nesmith's first Top 40 hit as a solo artist.

Nesmith embraced a multimedia approach to making music in 1975 to create The Prison, an album that was to be played as the "soundtrack" to a novella that came with the music. Represented on this set by "Opening Theme - Life, The Unsuspecting Captive," that album was also the first released on Nesmith's record label, Pacific Arts.

Then in 1979 Nesmith created "PopClips," the first-ever music-video program, which aired years before the dawn of MTV. That same year, Nesmith also recorded Infinite Rider On The Big Dogma, which featured "Cruisin'" and "Light," which also appear on this set. Nesmith made videos for those songs and others and released them in 1981 as Elephant Parts. A mix of comedy sketches and music videos, this "video album" won the very first Grammy Award for Music Video.

INFINITE TUESDAY ends with a pair of tracks from albums released after Nesmith returned from an extended recording hiatus: "Laugh Kills Lonesome" from ...Tropical Campfires... (1992), and "Rays," the title song from his 2005 album.
